Freba Grawe

Dr. Freba Grawe leads an independent research group at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and heads the Nuclear Medicine Section at University Medical Center Mannheim. As both a clinician and researcher, she works at the interface of molecular imaging, radiochemistry and patient care. Her research focuses on making targeted cancer drugs visible inside the body, allowing doctors to see whether a treatment reaches its intended target. She believes that understanding where a drug goes is a key step towards more precise and individualized cancer care.
