Dr. Frank Stietz is member of the Board of Managing Directors of Heraeus Group, a broadly diversified and globally leading family-owned technology company, headquartered in Hanau, Germany. Today, Heraeus combines diverse activities in the Business Platforms Metals and Recycling, Healthcare, Semiconductor and Electronics as well as Industrials. Dr. Stietz joined Heraeus in 2015 as President of Heraeus Electronics. In 2018 he moved up to the Group Management Committee of the Heraeus Group. In March 2020, Dr. Stietz joined the Board of Managing Directors of Heraeus Group. In 2022 he additionally took over the responsibility for the acquisition Norwood Medical in Dayton, Ohio as President and CEO and ensured Norwood’s smooth integration into the Heraeus Group. Before his career at Heraeus, Dr. Stietz gained extensive management experience at Carl Zeiss AG. There he headed Corporate Research and Technology, the electron microscope business, and was a member of the Board of Management of the Microscopy Business Unit. Dr. Stietz habilitated in experimental physics at the University of Kassel and holds an MBA from the University of Augsburg and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
