Douglas Gollin is the Jason P. and Chloe Epstein Professor of Economics at Tufts University. His research focuses broadly on economic development and growth, with an emphasis on the structural transformations that accompany the growth process. Prior to joining Tufts in 2023, Professor Gollin held professorial appointments at Oxford University from 2012-23 and at Williams College, from 1996-2012. He holds an A.B. degree from Harvard University and an M.A. in international relations from Yale University. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Minnesota in 1996.
