Christina Landbrecht
Dr. Christina Landbrecht is a curator, an art historian and has multiple years of working in the non-profit sector. From 2009 to 2012, she was a research assistant and personal assistant to the director at Berlinische Galerie, Berlin’s museum for Modern Art, Photography, and Architecture. She curated exhibitions of artists such as Nan Goldin and Boris Mikhailov and developed a site-specific musical installation for the museum's entrance area in collaboration with artist and composer Ari Benjamin Meyers. From 2013 to 2017, she was a research assistant at Humboldt University. Since 2018, she has been Program Director of Art at Schering Stiftung. The foundation initiates and supports projects at the intersection of art and science. In the foundation's own exhibition space projects by Jenna Sutela, Sissel Tolaas, Emilia Tikka, and others have been shown in recent years. Her dissertation, Artistic Research: Problems, Potentials, Perspectives was published by Konstanz University Press.
