Benjamin Claux is a visual artist based in Lille, resident at La Malterie Musiques, I.F.A., and I.opener. His work stems from research into technological archives, scientific practices, and conspiracy theories, forming installations built as fragmented narratives — videos, sound devices, objects, and texts — where History, hypotheses, and dreams are reenacted. By framing modern folklores within the sociological, scientific, and technological contexts that shaped them, he explores how contemporary myths emerge and what they reveal about our relationship to knowledge and society.
