Antje Nestler

Antje Nestler is responsible for Transformation Communication at the Max Delbrück Center (MDC) in Berlin, where she develops communication formats for institutional change in the biomedical research environment, including the video documentary series “Strategy Lab” on the center’s strategic transformation. Previously, she spent over six years as Science Communication Officer at the Cluster of Excellence “Matters of Activity. Image Space Material” at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where, as Principal Investigator of the experimental laboratory “CollActive Materials,” she conceived and implemented many participatory workshop and exhibition formats – several of them contributions to Berlin Science Week. In 2025, she co-published the open-access practical guide “Co-Creating Futures” on participatory futures workshops.  Antje is currently a Public Engagement Exchange (PEX) Fellow at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin and Stellenbosch University.
