Alain Mendy

Alain Candoumbe Mendy ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Doktorand an der HTW Berlin in den Fachbereichen Ingenieurwissenschaften sowie Wirtschafts- und Rechtswissenschaften. Er entwickelt KI-Methoden zur Automatisierung technischer und datengetriebener Systeme und überführt sie in reale industrielle Anwendungen. Im Forschungsprojekt KI-InnoX arbeitet er an praxisnahen KI-Prototypen und am Transfer zwischen Forschung und Wirtschaft.

• Edge AI und effiziente KI-Inferenz

Im Workshop begleitet er die Teilnehmenden als einer der Workshop-Leiter technisch beim Bau ihrer App-Prototypen. Außerdem beantwortet er Fragen dazu, wo die KI Eingaben verarbeitet und wie sensible Daten geschützt bleiben.

Alain Candoumbe Mendy is a research associate at HTW Berlin University of Applied Sciences, working in both the School of Engineering and the School of Business and Law. He develops AI methods for automating technical and data-driven systems and brings them into real-world industrial applications. In the KI-InnoX research project, he works on practical AI prototypes and on transfer between research and industry.

As one of the workshop leads, he provides technical support to participants as they build their app prototypes. He also answers questions about where the AI processes their input and how sensitive data stays protected.
