terra0: Autonomous Forest Launch Event

On the occasion of Berlin Science Week, LAS Art Foundation presents terra0: Autonomous Forest, a multifaceted artwork that rethinks land ownership through blockchain-based governance. A new techno-legal entity marks the first time a forest in Germany is managed by a blockchain-based organisation, linking art, law and technology in a living experiment of shared responsibility. Combining the purchase of two forests 60 kilometres outside Berlin with a new framework for collective ownership, the project invites visitors to engage with alternative models of ecological care. The launch event explores the implications of this evolving project and introduces participants to ways they can become directly involved in shaping this novel model of ecological stewardship.
