Science Art Summit

Over one live online afternoon, six speakers from across the science-art world take the floor to show how they turn real research into something you can see, feel, and relate to. The line-up features a potpourri of styles, topics & creative processes: a magazine cover taking shape, a protein structure becoming a physical sculpture, a dataset reworked into a story, followed by a panel discussion where the speakers answer questions live. 

The science images you've seen on the news, in a textbook, or on a magazine cover were made by someone. This event shows you how it's done! No need for a science or art background to follow along. A bit of curiosity about how the invisible gets made visible is enough. Watching a protein become a sculpture or a dataset become a story is good fun in its own right.
