Geographies of Home: How Do We Hold Grounded Spaces When Everything Keeps Changing?
Join us at Acker Stadt Palast, a self-organized community-cultural space, to reflect on what it takes to nurture spaces that hold multiple ways of living, learning, and being together in a city that keeps changing. A magazine sharing photo-essay, poems and rituals of sensing home in-between places; a glossary of intimate and insurgent land practices; a photographic exploration of the many living rooms the city holds. Our recent publications and explorations are some of the collective creations that allow us to reflect on how we keep building grounded spaces for everyday life. During this gathering, we will sit with the question of how we keep crafting lively spaces of intimacy and safety, celebrate these recent creations, and find ways to keep moving forward together.
