Festival Centre Closing with the ARS NOVA Ensemble

Music and dance meet: live jazz, improvisation and movement bring the festival theme “In Touch” to life.

To close the Festival Centre at HKW, the ARS NOVA Ensemble brings students from the Jazz Institute Berlin and the University Centre for Dance Berlin to the stage. Musicians and dancers bring the festival theme “In Touch” to life, exploring the close connection between sound and movement.

Virtuosic solos meet collective improvisation, groove meets the body, and spontaneous musical ideas meet choreographic impulses. The interplay unfolds in the moment, taking on new directions as it goes.

A concert between jazz and dance, and a lively finale to three days at the Festival Centre.
