Verena Haage

Verena Haage is a neuroimmunologist and postdoctoral researcher at the Experimental and Clinical Research Center of Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Her research focuses on the heterogeneity of human microglia both in the healthy state and in the context of neurodegenerative diseases. Verena is deeply committed to mental health and sustainability in research, as well as to advancing research culture. She is co-founder of the Sustainable Leadership for Science Initiative and an active ambassador for the Dragonfly Mental Health Initiative.
