As an interdisciplinary practitioner, and urbanist trained at TU Berlin, her practice moves across spatial research, art, science, and material experimentation.
CarboSlag and CosmoLabs are the ventures she founded to bring these fields together, developing hard-tech climate innovations that move from the lab into the field.
Inspired by the strange beauty of post-industrial environments and the stories embedded in matter, she connects memories of industrial Türkiye with the rural landscapes of Sicily and the streets of Berlin, exploring how places and materials carry memory, transformation, and possibility. Cycling and photography shape her way of seeing, while minerals, waste, ruins, and emerging ecologies become both subjects and materials in her Slag Trilogy.
Supported through collaborations including the Institut français and UNESCO, the series intentionally blurs the boundaries between art and science, material and place. At its heart is a simple proposition: dream further, science harder.
