Stefan Sieber is a Professor at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and coordinates the department “Development-oriented International Agricultural Research (DIA)” at the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF). He also worked at FAO in Italy, the EU Commission in Seville in Spain and in various Research Centers in Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe (Embrapa, INTA, Agroscope, CARE).

Stefan Sieber focuses his research on sustainability transformation of food and land use systems in Africa, Latin America and Asia. He applies mixed method approaches of inter- and transdisciplinary research methods in the frame of co-design of innovation, policy and governance analysis.
