Said Saavedra Bracamonte currently serves as Director General of the State Council for Science and Technology of Sonora (COECYT) and President of the National Network of State Councils and Organizations for Science and Technology (REDNACECYT), where he promotes scientific and technological development, innovation, and collaboration among public, private, and academic sectors.
With a background in economics and financial planning, his professional trajectory spans the public, private, and academic sectors, with leadership roles in economic development, financing, innovation, and institutional management. He has served as Regional Director of Nacional Financiera (NAFIN) and Deputy General Director for Institutional Promotion at NAFIN and Bancomext.
