Dr.-Ing. Mitchel Polte is an expert in machine tools, advanced manufacturing technology, micro-production, precision technologies, and digital integration. As Chief Engineer of the chair Machine Tools and Manufacturing Technologies at the Production Technology Center Berlin (PTZ), he bridges academic research at IWF TU Berlin with high-tech industrial applications. Leading a large team of research engineers, his work addresses society-relevant challenges through digital transformation, AI integration into machine tools, and the development of sustainable, empathic factory infrastructures. Together with his team, he actively contributes to the global engineering community through numerous high-impact international publications and scientific presentations.
