Luke Flanagan

Luke is a PhD student working on the topic of health data privacy with the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité. Originally from the Republic of Ireland where he received a bachelor's in microbiology, he has lived in Germany for six years. He graduated with a masters in neuroscience before starting his PhD. His work focuses on improving mental health support access for people experiencing stigma by enhancing privacy protections.

Outside work, he enjoys spending time hiking through nature or gathered around a table with friends playing board games.
