Liliana Oropeza Acosta is a Bolivian former diplomat and PhD candidate in Global Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Universidad del Salvador, Argentina. As a delegate at Bolivia's Permanent Mission to the UN Bolivia in New York (2018–2021), she negotiated across multiple committees. Her doctoral research examines how Global South states position peasant women's rights in multilateral forums through a decolonial feminist lens. She is co-founder of Yawar.Bolivia, the country's first feminist collective for menstrual dignity, and has consulted for UN Women Bolivia on the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
