Originally from Spain, Dr. Irene Talon completed her PhD at the KU Leuven (Belgium) and is currently an EMBO and PTES postdoctoral fellow in the group of Prof. Ludovic Vallier at the Berlin Institute of Health and Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics. She studies liver regeneration using mini-livers grown in the laboratory, known as organoids.
