Hannes Keiling

Hannes graduated from high school with distinction and received the GDCh Prize in Chemistry. He then studied chemistry at the University of Würzburg, where he developed novel clickable biomolecules during his bachelor’s thesis. In his master’s studies, he specialized in organic chemistry with biological applications and gained international research experience at the University of Helsinki in 2024. Afterwards, he joined the research group of Prof. Dr. Jürgen Seibel for his master’s thesis, focusing on multifunctional linkers. Since starting his PhD in 2025, he has continued his research in this field. After receiving a presentation award at the Mexican Science Day 2025, he also organized an international workshop on novel vaccine development in Mexico.
