Gesine Born

Gesine Born is the founder of the Bilderinstitut in Berlin. Through the project "Versäumte Bilder" (Missed Images), she makes women in science visible. Universities and research institutions take part in a collaborative process to research overlooked figures and to supplement their photo collections on the walls with AI-generated portraits. Through transparent labelling, the project links gender equality with education on the responsible use of AI.
