Dr. Dietrich Halm (German, born 1965) is head of cooperation with Latin America in the International Division of the German Research Foundation (DFG) in Bonn, Germany. He coordinates the scientific co-operation of the DFG with research funding institutions, universities, and research institutions in Latin America. From January 2011 – June 2015, he founded and headed the Latin America Office of the DFG in São Paulo, Brazil.
