International Fall Gathering 2026

Inspiring women leaders from science, business, and society will come together in Berlin for the International Fall Gathering 2026—a vibrant and exclusive event hosted by the Falling Walls Foundation in cooperation with the Elsevier Foundation, Bayer Foundation, Volkswagen Foundation, and German Research Foundation.

This year's International Fall Gathering will take place on the 6th of November 2026 in Berlin, during the Berlin Science Summit taking place on 6-9th of November 2026. The event will bring together the 20 Intensive Track Champions 2026, winners of the Women's Impact Awards, and programme partners for an engaging day of networking, exchange, and celebration.

This signature event is part of the Female Science Talents Intensive Track, a year-long career development programme that supports 20 outstanding early-career women* in science from all disciplines. Participants engage in skill-building workshops, mentoring, and community-building events designed to enhance leadership, expand professional networks, and increase visibility for their research. The programme culminates in two high-level in-person gatherings in Berlin: the Spring and Fall Gatherings.
