Sveta Gorlatova

Sveta is a queer feminist researcher who is interested in environmental justice, urban planning, queer geography and decolonial approach. They graduated from MA in Gender Studies in Vienna and were a research fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

Unlearning design of a public space. Feminist Park

In their talk Sveta will present a Feminist Park initiative which aims to reshape Berlin's public spaces by centering the needs and voices of marginalized communities.They also will talk about decolonial approach to studying urban environment and share the experience of Feminist Park Collective in community engagement and experimental research methods.
