Paula Riccardi

Dr. Paula Riccardi holds a PhD in Entomology from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil and is currently a researcher at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin. Her research combines large-scale data on morphology, genomics and distribution to uncover species diversity  and evolutionary drivers shaping the dynamics of flies. She is leading colaborative projects across Germany, Brazil and Portugal to establish baseline knowledge on abundant and neglected insects of terrestrial ecosystems.
