Artem Filipenko is a PhD student working as part of developing resource-optimised production systems for controlled cultivation such as greenhouses and indoor farms, and extends these systems with co-production and recirculation systems such as fish and plants in aquaponics.

The future of farming is clean

The talk will be about my PhD project and cover the concept of aquaponics in general as a cool way to save resources during production of food and leave as small an environmental footprint as possible. After this part I will describe in detail which directions are chosen to optimize and improve aquaponics.
