Amar Uuld is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the Mongolian University of Life Sciences (MULS). She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Hungarian University of Life Sciences, an M.Sc. in Agricultural Management from MULS, and a B.A. in International Economics from the National University of Mongolia. Apart from teaching, she is currently working on the Volkswagen Foundation-funded ZooMap project, with research interests in Marmot trade chain analysis specially on consumption chain and supply chain. Amar has extensive consultancy experience with international organizations such as the World Bank, FAO, Mongolia’s Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Light Industry, and Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, and non-government organizations. Her areas of expertise include agricultural economics, market development for agricultural products, project monitoring and evaluation, and climate change adaptation. Her research focuses on efficiency analysis, sustainable agriculture, and the economics of vegetable production, with a strong emphasis on enhancing climate resilience in Mongolia’s agricultural sector.
