Clara Roca-Sastre

Clara is Programme Co-Lead & Curator at Berlin Science Week, where she shapes the festival's curatorial voice: the themes, the tracks, and the questions running underneath the programme. With a background in physics, she moved into science communication and art-science practice during her studies.

Working across several hundred proposals from researchers, artists, and institutions across the city, Clara selects and connects perspectives to build a programme that brings different forms of knowledge together without flattening them into one.

Outside of work, Clara can usually be found searching for a new favourite dish, following good music onto a dance floor, or finding her way back to the ocean. Having grown up on an island, she has always experienced water as a place of connection and inspiration.
