Candy is Production Lead at Berlin Science Week — making sure big ideas eventually turn into real spaces, encounters, and experiences. He shapes the event design, ramps up the production and coordinates the many people, partners, and exhibitors who bring Berlin Science Week to life.
Candy enjoys complex systems, unexpected connections, and the moment when a lot of loose ends suddenly come together as a coherent whole. His workplace can be anything from a planning document to a festival site. The main thing is: something is happening.
When he’s not trying to keep a hundred things moving at once, you’ll probably find him behind the decks as a vinyl DJ — with a soft spot for good sounds, long nights, and finding the right track at exactly the right moment.
