Food for Thought — A food-focused Pub Quiz organised by the Humboldt Residency Programme

Gather the sharpest minds and hungriest thinkers in your friend group to assemble your team of up to 7 members, and compete for victory in this food-focused pub quiz.

Over the course of five rounds of questions, the "Food for Thought" pub quiz will guide you through all the stages of the food chain, from seeds in the soil, to meals on the plate, to waste down the drain. 

The winning team takes home a bottle of Irish Whiskey, while the losing team will carry their shame in the form of a jar of pickles.

The starting fee is 5€ per team. In the jackpot round at the end of the night, every team (regardless of prior victory or defeat) has a chance to win the jackpot containing the collected starting fees.

Questions will be in English and German and answers will be accepted in either language.

The "Food for Thought" pub quiz is hosted by participants of the Humboldt Residency Programme 2025, which focused this year on "The Future of Food".
