BEYOND NOW – True stories from women shaping the future of science
Female scientists share what the data can’t ...... their stories!
Six brilliant women scientists from around the world are flying to Berlin for the Falling Walls Conference — and for one night only, they’re stepping out of the conference halls and onto our stage to share the human stories behind their science.
These aren’t lectures. They’re 8-minute true stories told live, without notes—shaped with the help of theater-trained speaker coaches from Female Speaking Berlin, and performed as part of Berlin Science Week 2025.
Our storytellers are part of the global Falling Walls Female Science Talents network—a group of exceptional scientists pushing boundaries not just in their fields, but in how we think about leadership, impact, and inclusion.
- They'll share raw, honest tales of what it means to be a woman in science today:
The breakthroughs that almost didn’t happen.
The pressure to prove.
The small triumphs no one sees.
And the passion that keeps them going.
The event is in English. All are welcome.
Whether you're a scientist, a storyteller, or just someone curious about the world, this evening is for you.
