BEYOND AVATARS

From Digital Einstein to the newest developments in lifelike avatars, delve into the evolving boundaries between humans and machines. What comes after today’s digital humans? How do we build trust in a world where identity and presence can be simulated? And where do ethics, cognition, and design converge in this transformation?

Participants will be able to interact with Digital Einstein, experience live demonstrations of ETH Zurich’s pioneering work in avatar technologies, and engage in a panel that brings together leading voices in artificial intelligence, cognitive science, ethics, and digital design.

Beyond Avatars challenges us to rethink not only how we live with technology — but how we live as technology becomes increasingly human. True to ETH Zurich’s RETHINKING LIVING campaign, it is a call to shape our digital futures with insight, imagination, and responsibility.
