Şevval Demirci

Şevval Demirci is a PhD candidate in Lisa Scheunemann's laboratory at Freie Universität Berlin. She studies the neural basis of learning and memory using the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism. Combining genetics, behavioral experiments, and advanced imaging, her research investigates how internal physiological states influence memory formation and brain function.
