Rocío Ruelas

Rocío Ruelas is Drive to Zero Project Coordinator at CALSTART, where she advances zero-emission transportation initiatives across Mexico and through international collaboration. An environmental manager and urban mobility specialist, she has over eight years of experience working with governments, cities, research institutions, and international organizations to integrate climate action into transport policy. Previously, she was an International Climate Protection Fellow at the Wuppertal Institute and worked with ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability. Passionate about connecting research with practice, Rocío develops practical solutions that help cities build cleaner, more resilient, and more inclusive mobility systems.
