Nadav Nir is a researcher and an activist specializing in the interaction between physical geography, archaeology, and environmental science. In his research, he examined how human movement, from ancient migrations to contemporary displacement, can shape landscapes and societies. Using tools like remote sensing, soil micromorphology, and geospatial analysis, he investigated the long-term environmental impacts of human activity. Beyond research, Nadav has a background in adult education, he is a long time environmental activist and currently works in a community project supporting forced migrants in Berlin. In this workshop, Nadav will guide participants through immersive experiences that connect past and present, exploring how people, places, and histories intertwine.
