Michelle is Project Coordinator of ASCEND and Head of the Department of Catalytic Materials: Design and Integration at Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin. She obtained a Ph.D in Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) in electrochemistry and material science. She held research fellow positions at universities in Belfast (UK), Prague (Czech Republic), and Dublin (Ireland).
