Mauricio Orozco  b. 1988 is an artist based in Mexico City, developing a transitional realism through generative art, video, and writing. His work explores the boundaries between desire and the synthetic, navigating counterculture, eroticism, dream cognition, and direct experience.

Orozco’s practice intertwines Buddhist philosophy, Mexican identity, speculative futurism, and technology. He conceives the image as a reflection of the contemporary digital world. By delving into protocol art, Orozco designs style systems that lay the groundwork for a new digital painting. Within this framework, nodal workflows act as the architecture, expanding the painterly gesture into a systemic co-creation with LLMs.
