Marwa is a PhD student at Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin) and a researcher at the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics (WIAS) Berlin. Before coming to Berlin in 2020 to pursue her M.Sc. at the Berlin Mathematical School (BMS), she completed her B.Sc. in Mathematics at the University of Khartoum, Sudan. There, her interest in running simulations and comparing them with mathematical theory was first sparked. Her current research continues to nurture this passion, as she works on the numerical analysis of the Millennium Prize Problem on the Navier–Stokes equations.
