Leander Nowack

Leander Nowack is a spatial practitioner, PhD researcher at TU Berlin, and Research Associate at the University of Oxford's Centre for Criminology. His work investigates the intersections of space, power, and European border regimes, with a focus on border infrastructures, surveillance, and spatial governmentality. He leads the Mapping Governmental Architecture initiative at TU Berlin and edited Territorial Control: Case Studies on European Borders, advancing interdisciplinary research on borders, technology, and the built environment.
