Laura Stielike

Dr. Laura Stielike ist Politikwissenschaftlerin und wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Nachwuchsgruppe „Die wissenschaftliche Produktion von Wissen über Migration“ am Institut für Migrationsforschung und interkulturelle Studien (IMIS) der Universität Osnabrück. In ihrer Forschung untersucht sie, wie Big Data und Künstliche Intelligenz das Wissen über Migration verändern und welche politischen, gesellschaftlichen und ethischen Fragen damit verbunden sind. Sie ist assoziiertes Mitglied im Sonderforschungsbereich „Produktion von Migration“ und Mitherausgeberin des Inventar der Migrationsbegriffe sowie der Zeitschrift für Migrationsforschung.

Dr. Laura Stielike is a political scientist and research associate in the junior research group "The Scientific Production of Knowledge about Migration" at the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS) at Osnabrück University. Her research examines how big data and artificial intelligence are changing knowledge about migration and the political, societal, and ethical issues associated with this. She is an associate member of the Collaborative Research Center "Production of Migration" and co-editor of the Inventory of Migration Terms and the Journal of Migration Research.
