Laura Benech

Laura Benech s an Interdisciplinary artist whose projects move across fields and codes, working with diverse (im)materialities including photogrammetry, digital video, holography, augmented reality, alongside drawing, 3D prints, and site-specific installations. Her work investigates entanglements within the Capitalocene, engaging uncertainty and the coexistence of multiple realities. It involves processes of encoding and translating nature, addressing how environments are sensed, processed, and reconfigured through technological and networked systems. She develops works that operate across different scales, grounded in specific material and infrastructural conditions. These examine the limits of code, science, and nature, questioning fixed binary frameworks and the logics behind them. She is co-founder of the collective project and podcast Liminal Bits (https://liminalbits.net/), and Antimateria Studio, a collective focused on experimentation and research with biomaterials.
