Kshitija Gurav

Kshitija is an Indian multidisciplinary designer with 5+ years of experience across visual communication and research-driven design. Her broader practice sits at the intersection of design, ecology, and futures, using storytelling, systems thinking, and speculative approaches to explore more sustainable and regenerative ways of being in the world.

Her journey into the world of fungi began through material investigations and experiments that have been ongoing for nearly two years. Since then, she has been actively involved in material research and conducting workshops that explore material-driven design theories, artistic research, and hands-on play. Her most recent work, Entangled Systems, developed as part of her M.A. thesis, features living sculptures made from mycelium and digital media waste, imagining the possibilities of emerging hybrid bio-digital material realities.
