Katharina Stein

Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Katharina Stein is Professor of Botany, Dendrology, and Plant Ecology at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE), Germany. Her research focuses on plant-ecology topics such as plant–pollinator interactions, functional diversity, and ecosystem services, with intensive fieldwork in tropical and savanna systems across West Africa and Latin America. She brings expertise in how plant (and pollinator) communities respond to migration, disturbance, and changing environments.
