Johannes Matzen (born Müller)

Johannes Matzen (born Müller) studied physics at the University of Potsdam, where he specialized in climate physics during his Master's research at the Alfred Wegener Institute in Potsdam. Motivated by a strong interest in climate mitigation and resilience, he focuses on developing practical technologies for a sustainable future. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy, researching atmospheric water harvesting as a global source of potable water. He presents his work regularly at international conferences, interdisciplinary events, and science slams.
