Isabella Pasqualini

Isabella Pasqualini is an architect (ETHZ 2000), artist and scientist working across architecture and cognitive neuroscience (PhD EPFL 2012). She is currently a lecturer at the Institute of Visual Narrative and the MA Design at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Her works explore the mutual and intimate relationship between body and space through immersive multimedia, with a particular interest in the multisensory enhancement of the user’s horizon. She has been a researcher at the Center of Neuroprosthetics EPFL, the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Versailles, guest lecturer at the Design Department of Zürich University of the Arts (ZHdK), the Art and Design Academy of Tsinghua University, the School of Engineering and Architecture EPFL and the Städelschule Architecture Class. Isabella has won several international competition prizes and exhibited her work at international art venues.
