Ian is a doctoral candidate at the FU Berlin and a project associate at futurehain. His PhD research is on the neural encoding of limb position in the mouse brain, conducted in the lab of Prof. James Poulet at the MDC. Before this, he completed a Master of Research at University College London and a BSc at University of Sydney. He joined the (In)Credible Research Conference team to critique academic culture and explore new formats of science. He has explored similar questions as a co-founder of EDGE: Blurring the Borders between Art and Neuroscience, an art-science project aimed at interdisciplinary dialogue.
