Hannah Strohmeier

Hannah holds degrees in literature, art and media; comparative and international studies; and global health, with studies across Germany, Switzerland, Thailand, the UK, and the US. Her research focuses on the mental health and well-being of humanitarian workers. In her postdoctoral work at Charité, she investigates the impact of racism on staff mental health and explores arts-based approaches to staff care. She has worked with NYU’s Arts & Health Lab and Yale’s Global Health Practicum, and consults for the UN on gender equality and staff health. Hannah is deeply committed to science communication, translating research into documentary film.
