Eda Jovičić is a researcher and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), University of Zagreb, where she is also pursuing her PhD.

Her research lies at the intersection of biomedical engineering, signal processing and machine learning, with a particular interest in applying computational methods to biomedical and health-related data. Her work includes research on EEG signal analysis and machine-learning approaches to mental health, as well as broader applications of data science and artificial intelligence.

Alongside her research, Eda is involved in university teaching in areas including Data Science, Data Mining, Software Engineering and Knowledge Management. Eda is strongly engaged in science communication and public outreach. She is a member of the Board of Znanost u prolazu Association, an initiative dedicated to bringing science and scientists closer to the public, and has been involved in numerous science-popularisation and educational activities.
