Bryan Joel Mariano

Bryan Joel Mariano is a PhD researcher at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development. He currently works for the Volkswagen Foundation-funded ZooMap project, with research interests in the cultural meanings of endangered species and wildlife governance. He previously served as a senior lecturer in science communication at the University of the Philippines and worked in the forest conservation sector for both government and non-profit organisations in the Philippines.
