Ava Azadi

Ava Azadi is a PhD researcher at University College Dublin, where she is developing dissolvable metal implants to help children born with skull defects heal without the need for repeated surgeries. Inspired by the idea that science should ease human suffering, she combines advanced engineering with a clear focus on real-world impact. Ava has been recognised with awards for her research, and she is passionate about sharing her story to inspire young people to see how science can change lives.
